Hi!
Well in my opinion i like everything below midtown, is where the real fun is. Youll find lots of bars, underground places, gigs, a lot of interesting people. At least thats my opinion, i met a lot of cool people around LES (lower east Side). China Town is around there so i’ve seen a lot of cool apartments there. Having roommates is a good option if you want to save on that. Williamsburg ans Greenpoint in Brooklyn are good options too, but is more low profile, yeah yeah, everybody knows we have all the “cool kids” there, but i still see it as low profile, Manhattan nevers sleeps. But Good Neighborhoods (sometimes a little big expensive, but think about sharing):
- Chelsea
- Flatiron District
- Gramercy (i really like it here, and its super safe)
- Soho ($$$$)
- Tribeca ($$$$)
- East Village
Anyway finding a place to live that you like is the hardest part, but if you keep hanging around bars and meeting new people that’s the magic of it.
